WHAT IS THE AB ASSIST PLUS, EXACTLY?

THE AB ASSIST PLUS (AAP) is a system of inelastic straps with handles on each end of each strap. The AAP straps slide thru an anchor component. The combination of the non-stretch straps, an anchor point and sliding mechanism makes the AAP function like a lever, making each exercise easier as the arms help the abs lift the legs. It is different than typical resistance exercise bands because the AAP straps do not stretch, thereby forcing the users own body weight to be used in each exercise, which is also known as Body Weight Training.

WHAT IS BODY WEIGHT TRAINING?

THE AB ASSIST PLUS body weight training system uses the weight of the exercisers own body as the only resistance during the exercise movement. Traditional exercises such as sit-ups, pull-ups and push-ups are examples of body weight exercises, but those traditional body weight exercises only work isolated muscles and put undue strain on joints and the spine. With the AAP, joints and the back are properly supported and multiple major muscles as well as the deep lying stabilizer muscles are used, improving results.

First, simply anchor THE AB ASSIST PLUS to any stable object. For ab exercises, attach a strap to each hand and foot, lay down on your back and complete the best ab exercises with ease. You can also get a great upper body workout simply by attaching the AAP to the top of a door or any tall stable object. For upper body exercises, grasp the handles on each end of one strap and complete the many different exercises using the strap in place of traditional weight lifting equipment.

It is specifically designed to anchor in most doors--above the door knob for ab exercises and over the top of the door for upper body exercises.
